Harney County Info

Welcome to Harney County!  During your visit, you’ll find wide open spaces, abundant wildlife, and wonderful scenery, as well as many stores, restaurants, services, and friendly locals.  Burns and Hines are located on Highway 20 about 130 miles east of Bend and 130 miles west of Ontario, Oregon.  You can also get here on Highway 395 from the south (Lakeview) and north (from Pendleton / John Day), and from Winnemucca, Nevada via Highway 95 and 78.
